We went to Chez Ami while staying at the Curtis Hotel for a Staycation. The food was delicious, though a bit pricey. I do not like to have too much or too little food, so I felt the serving sizes were perfect. The service was excellent!

*Chef's kiss* my guy & I ordered roasted chicken, farm vegetables, & roasted potatoes along with the Seafood Bucatini. The food was magnificent and super fresh. Presentation was nice. This is my 2nd time dining at Chez Ami & his 1st time, he loved it & it definitely set the mood. Our palates were very pleased. Will dine again.

I stayed at this hotel 3 weeks ago and really liked it. I ate at Chez Ami and it was pretty good. I decided to do room service tonight and it was extremely disappointing. I asked what was the pasta special and told it was tagliatelle with sausage and a cream sauce. It had those but also mussels which I don't like, hard to believe they were not mentioned. I asked about the soup and said I can't eat a cream soup but it came up anyway but no spoon (it arrived 15 minutes later). I ordered the $17 roasted brussel sprouts which I love but they had no roast at all. I called to ask for a spoon and ask if the brussel sprouts are normally served this way. I said to just take them off it that was the case but they said they would roast them more. 10 minutes later, a small tin (the sprouts on the left in the picture) came to replace my first order. I tasted the soup and it was so over salted I had no desire to eat it. I also was afraid to say anything as the response on the brussel sprouts from the kitchen told me what the answer would be. Not a great start to my visit. They also couldn't find my reservation when I arrived. Every restaurant has its off nights, its how they respond that matters and this was disappointing as I'm also a guest.

Nice atmosphere and great service. The food was excellent. I would recommend wearing something nice to dinner.

My main dish for brunch was crab benedict. This may sound weird, but those were the best poached eggs I've ever eaten. They must've been prepared in a sous vide. The yolks had a jelly consistency that I was able to pickup with my fork without it running. The eggs were placed on an english muffin, sun dried tomatoes and crabmeat. The fingerling potatoes were nice and crispy. Excellent dish! The dish was reasonably priced, but our cocktails raised the per person cost.???? The pomegranate mimosa was tasty. It's possible to order a flat of 4 different flavored 4 ounce mimosa samples
